I have a few updates today, and hopefully some of the hard work that I’ve been pouring into absolutely everything lately will be paying off! I’ve got updates on the Audiobook, hardcover copy, and my (potentially) last TV appearance.

Audiobook progress

I got this email today and, as you can tell from John’s smiling face, he is very excited about the progress that both of us have been making on the audiobook. It’s been a long journey — especially the part where I recorded all the voices myself — but it is finally nearing completion. Once we have all the chapters edited (and I do any necessary re-recording), it usually takes Audible ten days before it’s available. Until then, you can feast your ears on the first ten chapters for free, or sign up for the newsletter so that I can notify you when it comes out.

Hardcover pre-order

I just talked to my publisher today via email and we are aiming for a mid-April release for the hardcover edition of the book — which was featured in my appearance on San Antonio Living — and looks every bit as beautiful as you’d expect. The proof I have is going to be just a bit different from the final product, but not by much (although I did catch and fix some small typographical errors in the text of the book. You’re welcome)

Kansas City Live

I’ll be appearing on Kansas City Live this Friday (March 29th) around 10:00 AM, though I don’t have the exact time just yet. I’ll be sending updates via Facebook and Twitter as I get them, and this will definitely be the best way to make sure you don’t miss a SINGLE MOMENT of the action.

Oh, I almost forgot! Beta reading for Awaken the Three is set to wrap up in two weeks. It’s too late to sign up now, but rest assured that means that Book Two of the Highglade Series is coming!
